I believe it was July 2004 that I had a conversation with band mate Matt Chan (No Luck Club) about a concept music video I had. It consists of us individually on different rooftops across the city questioning and answering with our turntables. Back then I was imagining a full DJ setup being filmed my a camera mounted on an actual helicopter. Times have changed and so has technology. A vision that was budgeted close to a million dollars then can now be done on a few hundreds of dollars.
Since the birth of the portable scratch game, numerous videos have been popping up with the use of drones. Amazing captures and angles to inspire anyone to go cut it up fresh in the wild. I’ve compiled a few videos for some inspiration information. Enjoy!
